My favourite’s post is a little late this time, we’re already half way through October but I thought I should update you on some of my favourite finds of September.
Trying new things
This month I went to my first blogger event. I attended with my friend Danielle, and I wrote a blog post about it too. It was the first beauty blogger event I’d been to and what’s great is that it was free. One of the great things I love about social media is that it spreads the word about things like this, and people can connect.
My new gym
I haven’t joined a new gym, but the refurb is finally 99.9% complete and my gym is now open again. It makes such a difference to be working out in a more spacious, bright and modern area.
Cooking
I’ve recently really got back into cooking after a fair few weeks of not being bothered and simply just putting together really easy meals. One of my favourite meals to make is a really great winter warmer. It’s called Campfire Stew and you can google the recipe. (There are loads of variations online). But it’s a great one to stick in a slow cooker for about 6-7 hours and then enjoy on its own or withe some rice. It’s my favourite winter dish.
Live events
This year I’ve attended more live events than I can count, and probably more this year than previous years combined. I’ve recently been lucky enough to get my hands on a few more tickets for events coming up in the next few months and I really can’t wait. I love live music and live events. There’s something really fulfilling about attending a show with live music, singers or sporting event. At the moment I’ve got one live music event to attend at Cardiff’s coolTramshed venue, a music concert in Birmingham, the Rugby Autumn internationals and two concerts in Cardiff city centre… I feel a new blog post coming on so watch this space!
